Bazil Meade has been part of the music industry for more than 3 decades. He is the founder and director of the prestigious The London Community Gospel Choir, and one of the most respected and valued figures in the British music industry. With his choir, he has stepped on great stages and performed in many countries around the world.
Under his guidance and advice have emerged some of the best gospel singers and R’n’B in the United Kingdom.
Through his agency Choir Connexion, he supplies vocalists for every kind of event imaginable, but being a man of many facets, Bazil Meade not only sings and plays the piano at concerts, but also writes songs and organizes the harmonies of the parts vowels and corals.
He was the musical director of the production of the West End musical theme ‘Mama I want to sing’ and the BBC film ‘Hallelujah Anyhow’
It stands out for its neatness in the study sessions; A sample of his skills in the arrangements can be seen in the theme “Tender” of the Blur group, where he was responsible for the vocal arrangements.
Other renowned artists who have benefited from his experience are Martine McCucheon, Phats & Small, Billie, Lynden David Hall or Mel B, for whom he organized the choir, and composed the music for his wedding. He also took care of the vocal arrangements of the theme “World At Your Feet ‘, an anthem that was played in the final of the Cup of England at Wembley Stadium.
His facet as a vocal coach is another area in which Bazil’s skills are highly appreciated and demanded. Over the years, he has taught singers such as Yazz, Eterna, Louise, Dina Carroll, as well as the hundreds of students who attend their vocal workshops, with the intention of learning or improving their singing skills.
